Facial aging
is a universal process and
it affects
all structures: skin, subcutaneous soft tissue, muscles and bones. However,
every individual ages differently. Therefore, when addressing facial aging, a
personalized approach is imperative.
The specific pattern of aging is
dependent on genetic and environmental factors.
In addition, every ethnic group has
its aesthetic strong and weak points, that affect aging. For example, Caucasian
faces are generally narrower with greater vertical height, Asians have a wider
and flatter faces with shorter vertical height.
This new classification of the
aging morphotypes
represents
a
holistic approach of the aesthetic anti aging treatments, taking into account
all the changes, both at micro and at macro level.
At micro level – the blood flow of
the skin is reduced, the skin gradually dehydrates,
the number of melanocytes decreases, the epidermal barrier weakens.
At macro level - the occurrence of
wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, ptosis.
The major advantage of this classification consists in offering
the possibility to choose a complete therapeutic protocol, with immediate and
long term results. It also enables the prediction of future age-related changes.
The aging morphotypes are classified (according to I.Kolgunenko) as
tired, wrinkling, deformative, and
muscular.
I.
The Tired Morphotyp
It
is the most frequent type, considered to be a marker of the physiological aging process. It
typically occurs in thin women with
oval or diamond shape face.
The
main features of this morphotype
are:
- normal
to dry skin type
- decreased
muscle tonus and skin firmness
- moderate
tear trough
- particular
hypotrophy and slight ptosis of the fat departments of the face
All these changes make the person
look tired and it usually becomes more evident at the end of the day.
Treatment
1.Restoration
of skin tonus
BCN Tensis Peptides
This combination of active ingredients acts on
the extracellular matrix, strengthening the tissue and firming the skin of the
face and body. Its action is focused on restoring firmness and making the
skin look younger and more luminous. It reduces and prevents wrinkles by
generating new skin cells. It improves the skin’s elasticity by inducing the
synthesis of collagen, elastin and renewing extracellular matrix (ECM). It hydrates
dry skin and helps to maintain the optimal moisture balance.
The whole face will be treated.
-Conventional, with the Nappage
technique
-Microneedling
– Mesopen
-No needle mesotherapy
2. Treatment of expression lines
Argireline - the perfect, non-toxic alternative
for BOTOX, reduces and prevents the occurrence of expression lines by
inhibiting muscular contraction.
It actually inhibits the release of
neurotransmitters, relaxing the muscles through this mechanism, without
paralyzing them completely.
Mimic lines on forehead, glabella,
eye area and upper lip can be
treated with Argireline.
It is also used for muscle relaxation on
chin and neck.
Other areas in which Argireline
is used are
Hyperhidrosis and pain, caused by
skeletal muscles
contraction.

-The injection technique is the same
as the one used for Botox. It is injected intramuscular and these are the injection points:
•When
applying Argireline with Microneedling, it is recommended to include it in a cocktail ( mixing it with Hyaluronic
Acid, vitamins, minerals, etc.)
•The
same recommandation applies to no-needle mesotherapy.
3. Hydration and vitaminization
of the skin

II. Wrinkling Morphotype
The
wrinkling morphotype is
more common among Western-
European
women.
This category
of
aging is typical in slender, thin
women with oval faces. Features include:
- Skin
is thin, sensitive, and frequently dry
- Subcutaneous
fat is slightly pronounced
- Fine
and deep wrinkles are present in large quantities
- Muscular
tonus decreases minimally
- Tissue
ptosis is not very visible
- Photoaging
ranges from moderate to severe (hyperpigmentation, actinic keratosis)
- Obvious
difference between skin conditions of the face and neck (in favour of
the face).

III. Deformative
Morphotype
The deformative aging morphotype is typical for Slavic and Arabic women, and
is usually observed in heavily-built women. Features include:
- Excessive
subcutaneous fat on the face resulting in pronounced deformity of facial
contours with formation of double-chin, ‘jowls’, neck folds, baggy lower
eyelids, and overhanging upper eyelids
- Evident
sagginess
- Skin
is relatively thick, with
visible large pores
- Large
facial features
- Deep
nasolabial folds can eventually converge with marionette wrinkles
-Facial
tissues are edematous, with lymphostasis also
present
- Pigmentation
disorders are not very typical
- Skin
response to damage is pronounced (edemas and inflammation)
- Reddening
of cheeks (couperosis) and
telangiectasis are
pronounced.

seen in men and
women with large features, excessive relief and sharper face shapes. The
main features are:

facial
muscles expression in combination with genetically predetermined low amounts of
subcutaneous fat
